Kenny Brain Carpenter and TV Personality
Kenny Brain is a Canadian-born general contractor and carpenter proudly hailing from Grand Falls–Windsor, Newfoundland. Known for his warmth, humour, and “go big or go home” spirit, Kenny brings a mix of skill, creativity, and heart to every project he touches.
Before stepping into the renovation world, Kenny first caught the public’s attention as a houseguest on Season 2 of Big Brother Canada, following a successful career as a fashion model. After helping friends renovate their home and cabin in his early twenties, he discovered a passion for transforming spaces that he simply couldn’t let go. He earned his business degree, went to trade school to become a carpenter, and began carving out a thriving career in renovations.
Over the past decade, Kenny has skillfully transformed residential and commercial properties across Vancouver, Nashville, Toronto, and Calgary—earning a reputation for innovative design, functional mastery, and a renovation style that blends comfort, creativity, and character.
When he’s not on the job site, Kenny spends his time outdoors with his dog, exploring the remote Canadian wilderness. Whether he’s at his beloved cabin in the heart of Newfoundland or enjoying a rooftop terrace in Montreal, Kenny believes home is wherever there’s creativity, music you can dance to, and big laughs.
Kenny co-hosts Making It Home with Kortney & Kenny, now streaming on STACKTV, and will appear alongside Kortney Wilson again in the new Canadian original series Life Is Messy, coming soon to Home Network.
